Where to dive in Mactan, Cebu? With tons of dive shops to choose from, there’s one that I can recommend.
Guitars, furniture, beach and airport are the many synonyms of Mactan, and so is scuba diving.
Mactan is a quick dive getaway to the diving aficionados of Cebu. This is where people dive on weekends and then get back to their ordinary lives quick.
It’s very accessible, and the marine biodiversity is thriving. The underwater features will not disappoint you- clear blue waters, soft and hard corals, and no shortage of marine creatures from tiny to enormous.
With the steady demand of divers, there’s an abundance of dive groups and shops that are available to pick from. There are tons of shops after shops that you can go with to dive at Mactan.
And I’ve come across with E&Z Diving Center, by a friend’s recommendation.
I’m expected to do my Advanced Open Water course in Malapascua, but, by nature’s adversity, bad weather caught me and I’m unable to cross the island.
I have to reschedule then.
So, to kill surface interval, and the itch to visit the underwater, I bump into Glenn’s shop.
At Marigondon, Mactan, Cebu, E&Z is a complete facility shop with SSI as their agency partner. His shop offers a wide variety or scuba diving services from fun dive to tec dive courses.
We dive with them on two occasions, with two dives each, together with my sister. I’m impressed with the place, the shop and the people there that I came back for more fun dive.
What I like the most about this shop is how Glenn and his team are congenial. He even took his time to show me around the place and present to me the features that surround the SSI digital space.
His place is wide and comfortable. If you pick the right date and time, you might even own the whole place.
Cebu is a hot spot destination for scuba divers. With an overwhelming of choices to pick from, sometimes, you don’t know where to go.
